Scholarship Application
The Lao American Student Foundation is proud to present a Scholarship Opportunity for the Class of 2026 High School Graduates! Write an essay or submit a creative video answering the following questions below.
All applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for scholarship selection. All essays will be reviewed by the members of the committee. Submit your resume and completed essay with your photo (Graduation preferred) in JPG, TIFF, or PDF with the Subject Title: “[Your Name] – LASF Scholarship Essay”
The submission deadline date for the LASF Scholarship Essay is May 1st, 2026 at midnight!
Scholarship Awards: 3 Recipients of $1000
Criteria:
Must be Class of 2026 High School Graduates
– Required: 500 Words Minimum Essay or 3 Minute Minimum Video Submission
– Required: Academic Transcript
– Optional: Resume, letters of recommendation
Essay Topic:
How education could impact the Lao community? Describe how you plan on giving back to the community.
Late submissions or failure to meet the criteria will not be accepted. No plagiarism, and please do not use AI.
